Our daughter had failed a math test and a quiz before attending Mathnasium. Her last math test she got a 96 and a quiz retake she got a 100. She said she finally understood how to do the math after attending Mathnasium.

My son really enjoys visiting Mathnasium. It is helping him refine the skills that he knows and introduce him to new skills, as well as foster his love of math. I especially like all of the safety precautions that Mathnasium is taking right now during the pandemic, including taking each student's temperature before entering, not allowing parents/caretakers past a certain point at the entrance, everyone wearing masks, students sitting apart from each other and hand sanitizer available. These things really make my family feel comfortable visiting right now!
In the month my son has been attending sessions at Mathnasium, I have seen his skills, and most importantly, his confidence, grow by leaps and bounds. I have no doubt that the gaps in his prior learning will be filled, and he will be able to finally enjoy math class. We truly should have joined sooner!

Mia has actually enjoyed learning math. She comes out with a smile each time. She has told me she feels prepared as she enters school in a few weeks. For me the flexible hours and “go at your own pace” are both great and allow us to fit math in during the busy summer.
The individualized plan and the reward scheme have incentivized my kids to focus on not only grasping concepts and using the right method but also on ensuring accuracy.

Our kids enjoyed going to Mathnasium. They like doing the math worksheets that are recommended to their skill level and corrections are done right after. The instructors will try their best to explain it to them. The concepts are learned while still making math enjoyable. The rewards are a bonus for the kids too.
My son avoids learning at all costs due to perceived ineptness. Mathnasium has boosted his confidence, and the reward system makes him WANT to attend. Sometimes, he refuses to leave!
My daughter is very happy to come to Mathnasium! The immediate rewards for her work are definitely motivating! It gives her a chance to get immediate feedback and wanting to work more. From my point of view- what ever it takes to make her learn math and really understand it in a way that help her builds good foundations. She loves math- in a way that I could never do!
Our son was very apprehensive about math in general, but the staff were so welcoming, supportive, and knowledgeable, he is gaining confidence and skill in math! The other day he said to me, "I thought I would hate tutoring, but the time flies by and I actually enjoy being there!" High praise from a 12-year-old!

One side comment: the reward system seems tather random; do not understand the algorithm for number of punches awarded to a card

My son is an 8th grader who is average in math. Seems like he never mastered anything and was pushed through all other grades. As he gets older he realizes how much he doesn't know in math and how hard it is going to get. I would say that until 7th grade amth was his favorite subject, even though it wasn't his "best" subject. Truthfully it does not want to make him work harder but makes him want to give p however it doesn't stop there, it has fractured his confidence, he is now beginning to think he isn't good at anything. Enter Matnasium, he wasn't excited about attending, but after a few sessions, he saw the opportunity to get better, to not accept that he isn't "good" at math, and that is increasing his confidence in other aspects of school. He likes the tutors, he likes the owner Brett.
My kids look forward to going to mathenasium so that right there tells me a lot !
