We have been so happy at Mathnasium!!
After just two sessions at Mathnasium, our son said, “they teach me in a different way that makes sense, Mom. I can understand it and it’s easy!” This was truly what we needed to hear after our son struggled with math at school. Now after 4 months of Mathnasium, his confidence in math has grown, he enjoys going to his lessons, and we are encouraged that he is building strong fundamental math knowledge. The opportunity that all those who work at Mathnasium provide for students, our children, is immeasurable. Whether your child loves Math, or struggles, there is a place for everybody, to learn. The teachers are fantastic, patient, kind, encouraging, and the organization of Dr Peter and Ms Michelle results in success for the students.
I am so incredibly grateful to all the team at Mathnasium - both my children, 14 and 9 years old absolutely love math. At school, both children are doing exceptionally well in math, and being at Mathnasium reinforces their knowledge, gives them additional tools to help with solving math, and perhaps most importantly, fills gaps in their learning, which no matter which school the students attends, will occur.

Hands down the best program around, that supports, nurtures, encourages students in Math, whether they be above or below the level that they need to be. I have seen my children grow from strength to strength in Math, but also in their abilities to work on life related issues, and I am convinced that this is related to their experience at Mathnasium. Dr Peter and Ms Michele run Mathnasium with such integrity that students are set up to succeed. I honestly could not think of a better place for our children to attend than Mathnasium

Glad we signed up, my daughter hasn't had anything negative to say about her weekly sessions. She really likes all of the tutors and never has any complaints about having to go while also coming home after each session feeling like she is slowly regaining the confidence she lost in her past year's school math class.
The entire experience, for both children has been life changing.
Having made the decision to move schools, during the admissions process, the kids were scoring really well in their evaluations, but with multiple gaps in their knowledge. I panicked, not understanding how this could be possible, but then started to search for a solution. Two dear friends, one in CA now and the other in South St Paul both told me to find out more about Mathnasium.
As part of getting to know the kids, Dr Peter assigned an evaluation to discover what level of knowledge each had. Having identified the gaps, a plan was developed to plug the gaps and then to move forward with their learning.
Initially our son benefited, but then we saw the growth, and most importantly, the happiness that our son has had each and every time that he has finished a lesson at Mathnasium. Our daughter was then signed up.
Both children continue to excel thanks to Mathnasium. Dr Peter and Michelle run a wonderful place, with a supportive, encouraging and caring team. It seems like almost every week, we encourage a family to go, or that the kids ask when their next lesson is.
Mathnasium of White Bear is a sanctuary for Math, whether a child is struggling due to not understanding a concept or bored in class wanting to learn more and faster.
I just wish that I had realized the gaps of knowledge sooner, and mostly that I had known that Mathnasium of White Bear was such a fabulous place for Math learners.
