Both of my sons go to the Park Ridge Mathnasium. I have seen a difference in their math skills, and confidence. They score much better on their tests at school, as well as assignments. The one to one assistance, and the ways the concepts are taught are helpful for them to retain the math concepts. And the math center director at this location is very dedicated in making sure the foundations of math concepts are mastered, before moving on. They are less likely to guess or memorize now, but use what they learned from Mrs Arzoumanian at the Park Ridge location.
Only been going a short time, but owner/manager is responsive, organized and engaging. The kids miraculously enjoy going and find it fun! Scheduling is easy. Highly recommend.
Kids have fun while learning how to develop math skills. During the pandemic, this was a much needed time that remote learning could not provide. I give much praise to Mathenasium for maintaining everything clean, sanitized and safe in order for children to continue to thrive in math with one on one in person tutors.

Mathenasium is a great way to keep math fun. Your children will be eager to attend their sessions and eager to learn more. Both my childrens' map test scores have increased and they are a head of their peers in their class.

Our daughter's math MAP test score increased from spring 2019 to fall 2019 due to her summer attendance of Mathenasium. She stopped attending once school started, and then her math MAP test score did not increase as much as it should have. She actually was one point below the district. That is when we went straight back to Mathenasium. I hope to see an increase in her scores again once MAP testing resumes.
During this Covid time, and before, the ownership and staff at Mathnasium are always and have been compassionate, flexible and very helpful with math curriculum and confidence building. We appreciate you so much and highly recommend you!

Great Instructors and great service. The lessons here are an excellent suppliment to the math education my daughters have NOT gotten from their school. Whether your child needs to catch up or keep ahead, Mathnasium of Park Ridge will meet thier needs.
My son really is enjoying working with Mrs Arzoumanian. He works directly with her one on one on his different math skills. He has shown a lot of improvement in just a short amount of time. What I like about her approach, is she has him show her, or tell her why he gave a certain math answer. So far, he has been retaining the skills she showed him. Before coming, my second grader was just guessing, and not really understanding and have a concrete knowledge or number sense. He would just memorize addition facts, but she taught him how to add without using his fingers, or relying on manipulates to guide him. He responds well, and is motivated in going through the materials with her. He goes everyday to the center, so he get intensive instruction, and it really works. During this time, he does the @Home with her on the computer, and he is able to do the activities like he were in the center. We are very appreciative for all the help she has given my son.
Definitely will recommend Mathenasium. The teachers make math fun, and the practice of math for an hour twice a week is essential to keep up MAP test scores.

My children have been going to Mathnasium of Park Ridge for about 3 years now and my children have consistantly stayed about a grade ahead in thier math scores. Not only am I pleased as a parent but my children love going. A big part of that excitement is the positive enviorment and the support the children get. Couldn't be happier.
I refer Mathnasium to as many people as I can. I think Mathnasium can help in two distinct ways.
1. Mathnasium can help children struggling with math.
2. I think Mathnasium can be used as an enrichment program for children to excel in math.
My child has benefited greatly from starting Mathnasium. They enjoy going, great staff, my children math skills have and will continue to improve.

My son hasn’t gone back to school yet so I haven’t had a chance to measure his progress thus far. However, I really appreciate the convenience of the packages and the drop in style they offer. It works great with our very unpredictable schedule.
