Sheena was my daughters teacher for a few years, she was patient, comforting and very knowledgeable. My daughter loved going every week to work with Sheena. This summer my daughter had to take a calculus entrance exam to see if she was calculus ready, well she scored higher than what was expected and she will start her freshman year at UT Austin in college calculus. My daughter has been going to mathnasium for a year. She started going her senior year of high school. She had zero confidence in herself and her ability to do math. She had struggled for so many years she had convinced herself that she couldn't do it. After starting mathnasium she quickly gained confidence and began passing math! I am happy to say with the help of the awesome tutors she has just finished her first semester of college math! She took two math classes and passed both. My only regret is that we didn't start sooner.
We have been using Mathnasium for a little over a year. During that time, our child's grades has steadily improved. During the past semester, our child's semester grade for 8th grade pre-AP math was 97.

My daughter was really struggling to retain the concepts she was bring taught at school. The teacher moved through concepts quickly and often did not review them, so she would not do well on tests. She was getting behind and her teacher just kept suggesting online tutorials - my daughter does not do well with online learning and need a face to face tutor. We tried Mathnasium and it was the perfect solution. Her math grades improved, she gained confidence and passed her STAAR test. Saleema and the tutors are outstanding.
