Jake is a fantastic geometry tutor for my 15 year old. He is not only knowledgeable, but personable too. He is dedicated to making sure his students fully understand the material, going above and beyond my expectations. My daughters geometry grade has improved since she started working with Jake. I definitely recommend Jake and the Mathnasium staff.
We have been with Mathnasium around 5 Months, And the conclusion till today, Is here in Mathnasium Crystal Lake, students come first, with truly care for what’s going on in school and helping them to understand not memorize or be repetitive , acting to find the roots of th issue, so everything else, it’s easier, I had to Mention Mr. Mike (owner) the gentleman who leads this amazing team! And really cares for what it’s going on I’m his academy’s, by the way he leads 4?more places in the area, also you must know that I you ever have an misunderstanding or question he’s always there for you, And I appreciate that,
If your kid is struggling in school for any reason, don’t hesitate to ask the Mathnasium team for help, they know how to switch all those bad grade’s to A+ believe me my kid did it!!!

I have no direct contact with mathnasium. Our granddaughter is a student there. We are paying her tuition. I've heard nothing negative from her or family so I would give it a 8.
This was a great help for my 2nd grader. In a short amount of time they helped her confidence, and now she is doing math without hesitation. It was extremely helpful for her and got her back on track.
My kids go tp crystal lake...the instructor there like Emma , Blake and esp Jake are very patient and accommodating...thanks so much guys !

I think it is great that you have students teaching students. This helps with some of the middle school awkwardness and it seems like my daughter really likes working with people who seem a bit less intimidating to ask questions. At first she was hesitant to go and now she understands how important it is to keep these skills up over the summer and know that there are folks that can help her one on one. Wish we did this years ago!
My daughter looks forward to going to her sessions. The instructors do a good job keeping her interested and motivated!

Mike has a great crew over at Crystal Lake, IL Mathnasium! This environment works; and has been a wonderful experience for my children to succeed in. We've been customer's for a few years now!! Wonderful people to work with for the success of my children and their self esteem! This has been a supportive effort along side their school curriculum. Our boys have struggled to be engaged in math studies during this pandemic however being able to go to the Crystal Lake Center to personally work with the instructors has helped considerably! With social distancing protocol in place, our children actually want to go; they tell me it is fun! Thank you :)

My daughter LOVES attending her sessions. She's reinvigorated to learn Math and to be challenged.
My boys are making progress as they fell behind with the shelter-in-place last fall. I have one student working virtually who has a compromised immune system and one going into the center. The instructors are great however my boys have found their favorites. My only suggestion would be 3 students per instructor is a lot at times. I have seen a lot of waiting at times. My boys also like working towards prizes and spinning the wheel.
The teachers are wonderfully patient and make math fun!

My daughter is having a blast learning math secrets that are taught during her online, live sessions! She has even started to move ahead of what is being covered in school lessons. I am happy she continues to move forward while we are stuck at home. I want her to feel confident in her math skills when entering middle school this fall. She says it all makes sense when Mathnasium explains it!
