My daughter is finally learning and feeling confident in math. She says the instructors are all excellent at teaching.
The entire process of working with Fresh Pond has been excellent. While the intake was a bit longer than expected, the weekly sessions have been so effective in boosting my daughter's skills and confidence. In just one month the positive improvement has been significant.
Online scheduling makes it easy for this busy mom and the female-identifying, femme teachers have been great role models for my daughter.
Their overall approach is very systematic. Beg with their thorough evals of the students' skills covering a range of math topics and problem types (seeing thereby where help is more so needed), to the superior match skills and patience of the tutors to the raneg fo types of help they offer--ie, immediate homework is often a focus for us so that my son can get the support he's needing in real time. My son has gone to see this office, either in person or virtually, off and on, between grades 3-11. He's a junior now and the latest materials--incl trig and calculus, the tutors have just as well rounded an approach to same as they would the grade 3 long division.

We signed up for Mathnasium because my Granddaughter was anxious about doing math after remote learning for the previous year and a half. Mathnasium was able to work with her to overcome her anxiety and begin to learn again. She's now able to do her work with confidence due to the Mathnasium program and it's patient, knowledge educators. We are very grateful for the program.

We are very happy at Mathnasium! My son was at another program for years and at some point things were lost on him. The course was designed to keep the group moving, not giving individual attention. There was also a lot of homework which was difficult because he did not always understand the concepts. Mathnasium has been able to fill in the gaps and build confidence. The more individualized approach has been quite positive. The classes are active and lots of work is accomplished. And mastery quizzes are given to make sure it’s ok to move forward.

Online math sessions have been working out well so far. We had some technical difficulties ( my internet was having issues), which got eventually solved. I will be in a better position to give an overall satisfactory assessment in a couple of weeks, considering I just joined Mathnasium online a month ago.

Excellent experience, thus far! The program is well organized and my kiddo is enjoying the experience...and he was really worried about it beforehand.
We've been a Mathnasium Fresh Pond family for about three years and our children continue to benefit from the small group instruction. The curriculum is flexible and allows us to add areas in need of review and reiteration and subtract areas that have been mastered. The recent switch to virtual sessions was smooth and has allowed us to add an additional session per week because the travel time and logistics are no longer a factor. Thank you!
We are only 8 sessions in but so far the experience has been great! My son was opposed to math before entering the program. After two sessions he was all for math in general AND became enthusiastic about Mathnasium. Never a whine or whimper when we are in transit to the program. He stated “all adults are helpful” at Mathnasium which is very different from the feedback he provides about his school experience. My son smiles at pick up, every session.
