The experience has been very positive for our 4th grader - gave her the patience, confidence, and support needed to hold her own in her school (she fell behind during online school). I always felt that the administrators and teachers looked for the best way to encourage my daughter and for opportuntiies to create positive associations with learning math.

The entire process of working with Fresh Pond has been excellent. While the intake was a bit longer than expected, the weekly sessions have been so effective in boosting my daughter's skills and confidence. In just one month the positive improvement has been significant.
Online scheduling makes it easy for this busy mom and the female-identifying, femme teachers have been great role models for my daughter.
Their overall approach is very systematic. Beg with their thorough evals of the students' skills covering a range of math topics and problem types (seeing thereby where help is more so needed), to the superior match skills and patience of the tutors to the raneg fo types of help they offer--ie, immediate homework is often a focus for us so that my son can get the support he's needing in real time. My son has gone to see this office, either in person or virtually, off and on, between grades 3-11. He's a junior now and the latest materials--incl trig and calculus, the tutors have just as well rounded an approach to same as they would the grade 3 long division.

We have had a great experience at Mathnasium. My daughter (7th grade) loves going to class and calls it "math zen"-- the calm environment combined with the individual attention targeted at the areas where she needs reinforcement has really worked for her. She has really enjoyed working with all of the instructors. We have seen a huge improvement in her confidence in her math skills.
We’ve been with Mathnasium for many years now and love the personal approach and study plan tailored to my son’s needs. He has never struggled with math but Mathnasium has helped to advance and improve his knowledge a lot. We are very greatful to Mathnasium for his recent achievements on ISEE and in school.
We have had a great experience with Mathnasium this past year. The instructors have all been superb and really attentive to my daughter via Zoom (and patient). I am so pleased overhearing their interactions... I feel like they are genuinely invested in her growth as a math student and learner. We signed up for Mathnasium because my Granddaughter was anxious about doing math after remote learning for the previous year and a half. Mathnasium was able to work with her to overcome her anxiety and begin to learn again. She's now able to do her work with confidence due to the Mathnasium program and it's patient, knowledge educators. We are very grateful for the program.

Very thankful for the very attentive staff at the Belmont Mathnasium! I was initially concerned that there were rotating teachers working with my daughter, but they are all top notch - and she's actually developed a relationship with many of them. They are patient and kind... I definitely see an improvement in my daughter's math skills and conceptual thinking. Also, if we have the option of online continuing, this is the only class she took through the pandemic we'd opt to do that. It has worked really well for her, as opposed to all other Zoom classes (as long as she's in a quiet space)! Thank you!
My child is enjoying math and I like the ease and flexibility of scheduling online. My child gets tired after a long day of school, so we prefer to schedule math on the weekend. I wish Sunday morning was an option also.
We are very happy at Mathnasium! My son was at another program for years and at some point things were lost on him. The course was designed to keep the group moving, not giving individual attention. There was also a lot of homework which was difficult because he did not always understand the concepts. Mathnasium has been able to fill in the gaps and build confidence. The more individualized approach has been quite positive. The classes are active and lots of work is accomplished. And mastery quizzes are given to make sure it’s ok to move forward.
