My son is in 5th grade. In 4th grade he had a B and was okay with Math, but when he entered 5th grade, he struggled right away and had his first F on classwork and just couldn't catch up.
The multiplication facts weren't strong and he just wasn't working fast enough to keep up with the next lesson. Mathnasium brought him up to an A!!! The teacher is so impressed with my son's progress. He even will tell the class tricks that he has learned at Mathnasium.
I love the attentiveness to the specific needs of daughter. They are patient, and willing to go above and beyond to plug the holes in her learning. Kudos to the amazing progress my daughter has made at Mathnasium!!!

My son was enrolled in the Mechanicsville location for three years, started out with an F and ended with an A which he has maintained since leaving. Now my youngest is enrolled in the program and doing very well. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and really care about not only helping your child succeed in math, but making sure they have a good time and enjoy coming. My 3rd grader really looks forward to going to each session. They have a neat reward system set up for the kids and that keeps them motivated. They have done a great job throughout COVID and offer in person as well as virtual learning. Highly recommend you give them a chance.
My son passed his first Math SOL with the help of Mathnasium. I would recommend this place for any child struggling with Math.
