It's been a positive experience, giving my daughter the support and encouragement she needs to advance her mathmatic skills. The instruction is clear, concise and friendly - she has never been stressed about math in Mathnasium and finds it a reasonably enjoyable experience (for a kid who isn't inclined to find math particularly enjoyable). I wish I could say that the rewards sytem isn't what motivates her; however, this is a great bonus for her at this age.

It is great over all. But it will be nice if there is help if the child does not follow a topic on HW and struggles with it

The teachers are very caring to my kid and very kind to him. He feels so confident in all the classes and so glad he made super high jump of his math level. I think he now is exceeded far ahead of his classmates in the elementary school now.

Very informative instructors- I like how they keep you up to date on your student’s progress. I also like how the students can experience a variety of instructors depending on when you book your class for the week. Booking classes is flexible and easy. Best of all, the child who attends loves going to her classes!

We love Mathnasium! Their approach to teaching is customized so that each student’s needs are met at the right pace. When we started our children at Mathnasium, we had one child who was not challenged with the school’s math curriculum, and another child who struggled with math self-confidence. The Mathnasium tutors were wonderful in meeting each of their specific needs. Soon one child was being challenged with work that was at their level, and the other child was becoming more comfortable with the subject. What really stands out about Mathnasium’s style is that they teach students how to look at a problem and see various ways to solve it. We also appreciate the small table setting with a max of 3 students to a teacher. You also have the option of one-on-one tutoring. Mathnasium has always been a “fun” place for our kids; they enjoy going and feel very supported.
We have been so impressed with the program and the staff at the Brookline Mathnasium location. The regular assessments and feedback after every session have been informative for understanding the progress that our child is making. The cards and stars "gamify" the learning just enough to keep our kiddo very motivated! And I can't say enough about how kind and understanding Michael and his staff are. They are extremely invested in making sure that our child is learning and staying focused while also enjoying the experience. I also really appreciate that their program is self-paced and designed to have the student work on skills that are just a little bit challenging. The one thing that has been a little tricky is that sometimes our child has to wait longer than is ideal if he needs help during a remote session if the tutor is helping another student. But overall the center's approach is well designed and effective. I highly recommend Mathnasium!
