My family wants to thank Mathnasium for the remarkable change in attitude and skills we have seen develop in our daughter. We started tutoring because we noticed that our daughter was getting frustrated by math and saying that she "just wasn't good" at it. Mathnasium identified the skills she needed to work on. After a good deal of work, she just got into accelerated math and scored an "outstanding" Level 4 on the state testing last year. We are so proud of her hard work. It's definitely a credit to Mathnasium.

I felt tremendous relief after my 13yo daughter's assessment. There had been many discussions with her about math homework, and tears had been shed.
Mathnasium shed light on the situation, and we could see what she was missing conceptually. Then they put together a learning plan. My daughter and I hugged Cat, the manager, before we left, I kid you not.
Kid has gone 1-3 times a week for 6 weeks, and guess what? She likes Math. She's learning steadily (but at her own pace) and prefers going to the center rather than zooming in remotely. I have heard my daughter say, "Math is, like, actually fun!"

The team at Mathnasium is very happy, helpful, and profesional. My child has been working with the Mathnasium team since February and I have seen growth in her already. I love the approach their team takes by asking students to use paper and pencil to work out their problems and show show their work.
My son hated math class, but loves coming to Mathnasium. He likes that they make math fun with games and prizes and his grades improved, so it is great for everyone!

My daughter had a D in her math class. I was concerned and did not know where to go to get help for her. One night we went to STEM night at her school and I saw a table for Mathnasium of Arrowhead set up. I was so excited since I was trying to figure out where I could get extra help for her to understand math and raise her grade at school. Casey provided amazing feedback and I scheduled a free introduction session with him. I decided to enroll my daughter after the introduction session and within a month my daughter's math grade at school was increased to a B. With the material she completed at Mathnasium she gained confidence to work hard at school and she rectified any missing assignments and completed a second attempt with other assignments allowed by her teacher at school. By the end of the school year my daughter was at her expected 5th grade math level with Mathnasium and she finished school with an A in math. We are now working on her leveling up with Mathnasium during the summer time to get her ready for 6th grade. My daughter loves coming to Mathnasium and feels like she is heard, seen, and valued as an individual. As a parent, I feel that my money is well spent and that all my concerns are addressed. We are so grateful to Mathnasium and all the work they do for the children in the community.

My middle schooler lacked confidence in her math skills and would perform poorly on class exams as well as standardized test. Having a place to review and reinforce concepts, as well as a calm space in which to do/complete her homework with possible assistance from the Mathnasium tutors, increased her confidence and improved her performance during stressful test-taking. The tutors at River Center are consistently knowledgeable and encouraging. The Center director is outstanding, with great communications skills and insights. The hours this Mathnasium is open are thoughtfully planned, so that kids can get there after school and even after extracurricular activities on weeknights, which is much appreciated by our family.
