Thank you Mathesium at Arlington Heights for supporting and educating my daughter. She had difficulties with geometry this year and algebra the previous year, but she really found a place where she felt comfortable coming and sharing her problems. She received the support she needed to go back to school as a more confident math student! We highly recommend Mathnesium to anyone who needs to boost their math skills to the next level!
My son has been going to Mathnasium for about 3 months now and enjoys it. He’s in 5th grade this year and we noticed his standardized test scores steadily decreasing over the last 2 years and decided we need to make the investment in tutoring for him. It’s been a game changer. He now not only enjoys math, but his most recent standardized test score in math went up significantly. I’m honestly shocked that he’s improved so much in such a short time. Mathenasium has been a great confidence booster and support for my daughter. She ususally brings in her homework and gets it done and will have assistance as needed. They provide good strategies and helpful solutions to help them remember and solve problems in the future. I also found it very easy to set up a session. OUr site has always been very accomodating if we are running late or if we need a session and forgot to sign up 24 hours in advance! I would highly recommend!
Everyone we interacted with at this Mathnasium has been fantastic. The teachers are very patient and kind-- make math make sense without being stressful! Whenever we had to change sessions or ask for extra accommodations they went above and beyond and this is truly appreciated. Wonderful experience and hope to keep coming back!
Mathnasium of Wood Dale has been very flexible and supportive. They focus on each child’s specific areas of weakness with personalized learning plans instead of general assessments.
One of my kids is currently not in a traditional school, and we are in the process of preparing him to transition into high school. They have been very helpful in assessing his level using SAT-style and placement tests and targeting the skills he needs most.
Scheduling is also easy and flexible, and missed sessions can be rescheduled during the month.
Mathnasium has helped our kids understand numbers and math so much better. Thanks!!

So far with personal tutoring, my kindergartner has made great progress! We are excited to be working with Mathnasium to get her to catch back up to her grade level.

My daughter had a great time learning new skills in Math. She said she enjoyed her sessions and the teachers were great. I wish they offered make up sessions since she missed a few sessions but this was limited since this was at skinner and that was not transferable to other locations.
We've referred others to Mathnasium many times! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and each of our three children, with different needs/abilities, gets the support/stretch they need there.
My son's math and writing/penmanship have improved since we started Mathnasium merely 2 months ago. It is well-worth the cost. I think his social skills have also improved since he is grouped with a small number of kids at a table each session. I've noticed him being less afraid to talk to new friends or go ask a grownup at the library for help. This is truly a wonderful program and the staff are always so positive and encouraging.
We love the Wood dale location, the instructors are great and the location is not so crowded which helps the kids stay focused, also Christine is do helpful.
