Customer Testimonials
I loved the way the Teacher built a relationship with my son where she is very strict yet accommodating and welcoming.
She gives him his time and encourage him to improve in a great way.

Hello, we are very happy with Sylvan thus far. So much so that we know personally of three families (four students) that are now enrolled with our location. I just passed the center details to a fourth family, and our son has one other referral he has made:) Any chance there is a referral credit program in place?

We love Sylvan for our children. We have had an excellent experience.
Very helpful and flexible, we're really happy with the tutoring and support its been for our daughter.
We’ve appreciated the tutoring help and the kindness of the tutors and the flexibility they afford us when scheduling conflicts come up.
Our son takes his SAT for the first time this week. Proof will be in the pudding! I am a bit sad that the lady I enrolled with has not been one of the available instructors. Not that she explicitly promised that, yet her credentials and the specific experience she said she could bring to or son's needs were showcased, and I bought in based on the discussion.
Hopefully, the value of her specific experience will be realized in the remaining time we have purchased, as our son works to take the electronic SAT.
I’ve seen my granddaughter improvement in class work and she raves about the staff Thanks
My son has received excellent support for the past few years!
Dylan looks forward to his lessons and makes him interested and motivated to learn.
Christina not only runs an extraordinary tutoring service, but she cares deeply about each student.
Our grandson has improved tremendously in his 16 months at Stlvan. Their diagnostics always agree with other testing system.
We could not be more pleased with his progress.
My 7 year old seems to be procediing only after a short time. And says he likes going there.
My son's math grade went from a D to an A in just a few short weeks. He loves his tutor. His teachers cannot believe how much he has improved in math so quickly.
Encouraging, laid back, no pressure tutoring. The team is always very flexible and accommodating when we need to alter dates and times for tutoring. Dean is an excellent Algebra 2 tutor!! We would highly recommend him.
Everything is going great so far and my daughter enjoys working with everyone on the staff. Very informative and easy to deal with.

We are very happy with Sylvan of Sarasota!
The owners are very accommodating and professional.
Our daughter is improving beautifully under the wonderful care of over teacher, Ms. Cheryl.
My boys both took the SAT before Sylvan. They practiced on Khan Academy for many hours but still didn’t have high enough scores for Bright Futures. After attending 21hrs of sessions over the summer, they both increased scores over 200pts. Both have tuition completely paid for by scholarship based off those scores thanks to the amazing tutors at Sylvan.
The tutors themselves are incredibly caring and flexible. Both my sons felt like they were in control of the sessions. They asked for specific help on things and the tutors always met those requests. The books Sylvan gives for SAT prep were very helpful but the tutoring made all the difference. Couldn’t be happier!! Best money I ever spent!
My daughter has been going to Sylvan for tutoring to help with ACT test. She has advised me that in the short amount of time she already feels a lot better about taking the test. She stated how the tutor are very friendly and have helped her tremendously. Definitely would recommend to anyone out there who may not be sure.
It has been great!
This was an excellent program to get my son back on track
Very organized program, very helpful/patient tutors, good environment for learning.
1. Professional teachers, not high school students.
2. Smaller size class, resulting calmer quieter environment which helps students to focus.
My daughter absolutely loves it!!!
My boys Luca and Xavi, work with Mrs. Kim in Lakewood Ranch. We’ve had such a great learning experience with Sylvan and see great gains in our boys’ writing and Language Arts. I would highly recommend Sylvan to others.
