Lane swim is great
I only do the classes, but they are brilliant, they vary slightly from class to class so you never get bored of doing the same thing , Ruth Armstrong is an amazing teacher, her classes are fun, with plenty of options if you struggle with the moves. Everyone at active tameside is friendly and helpful.
It’s safe through Covid and Gaynor is brilliant she motivates us love hers classes
The facilities are fantastic. It is the most Covid secure premises I attend. The staff team are amazing, helpful and supportive. Chris takes pride in remembering everyone's name. As members this greeting is always welcome.
It is an amazing facility I enjoy the lane swims. The app is user friendly to book sessions. I have no complaints only compliments. Regarding the wellness centre and so glad it has been able to reopen. This has been a life line for improving mobility.
Excellent class and also very socially satisfying. Shame Tues lunch and Thursday evening classes are not back.

The facilities at the Wellness centre are excellent, the staff are very friendly. While covid ristriction’s have been in place it as felt safe with all the cleaning and guidelines that are in place.

Really enjoying the centre. I joined last year to get fit after my second baby and only recently been able to start going because of the covid closures.
I have been taking one of my girls at a time to ducklings when I can get booked on which is really hard with the limited pool spaces. It's also hard that I can't book for both of them at the same time because my partner is a casual member and no chance of getting a space swimming atall.
They love the sessions though.
All the staff are really friendly, the pool and changing rooms are really clean.
This week I have done my first class, a spin class which I loved and I managed to book my first lane swim which was also great.
I can't wait for things to get back to normal and to be able to use the centre fully as a family.

I only use the pool which is lovely and the changing area is always clean & tidy. All the staff are friendly & helpful and it has felt very safe during the covid restrictions.

Your staff are incredibly patient and very well organised I only use the pool area but I am so grateful for their diligence and patience, they are constantly checking everything is running smoothly and whist being very busy are NEVER to busy to help - excellent job in extreme circumstances I have got to know a few of them by name Fran, Alison, Finley superb staff always lovely and inviting.

Clean and you can observe the team wiping down equipment and public areas so makes you feel safe that they are doing all they can to stop the spread of C19
Good value for money
Friendly staff. Spotless clean pool, changing areas and toilets. However, as an early lane swimmer (6.40 am session), with a very busy life it would be great if we are allowed in 5 minutes before the pool opens as I only have a very limited time in the pool and every minute counts! I speak on behalf of a few other swimmers. Also having to book at 6.40 am for following weeks sessions also takes time off my precious swim.
Gym well run, staff helpful, everything well organized, love the app for booking!
